Old skool network goes global with the launch of schools connect portal

Schools Connect Web Portal- Saibatek & NSF (UK) initiative.

One of the key challenges in the digital world is to make valuable and relevant community information accessible. Hence, in partnership with Saibatek Limited , we have developed a web portal called "Schools Connect" for our use. Saibatek is providing the technology underpinning the portal, and in return the NSF will provide active users and content . The portal has already been tested by a few NSF volunteers over the last few months

We are happy to announce that Schools Connect Portal is now live here .

Schools Connect is expected:

To significantly improve our ability to disseminate information efficiently and in a structured manner within our community.

To be a valuable resource as it will strengthen communication and information exchange not only within the community but also with external communities and individual users. For example, users can be better informed about what is happening through the use of: shared calendars, discussion forums, blogs, automated reminders, etc.

To enable us to project a modern and vibrant image to the outside world.

To enable the NSF to grow other functions like E-commerce for School Memorabilia, Career Information, Classified Adverts, and so on.

Access to Schools Connect Portal is restricted to NSF members only and as follows: -Schools will have a dedicated area, private to their subscribers only. -NSF Member schools will be automatically subscribed to receive all communication. -External 3rd Parties-Paid and unpaid adverts can be shared within the community.

How to subscribe

If your school is a registered member of the NSF (registered members list ) and you are also on our email mailing list , you will automatically receive an invitation, shortly, to register on the portal.

The portal is expected to evolve over time to its full potential. To enable this, we will be migrating all our official communication to the Schools Connect portal shortly.
